Clifford Scott, 76, of Waretown, NJ, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016, surrounded by loved ones and family.  He is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Mildred Scott of Ashtabula, Ohio.  He leaves behind his wife, Leona Scott, three daughters, Christine Lhota and her husband John, Michele Marion and her husband Gregg, and Tracey Scott and her significant other, Bill Smith as well as five grandchildren, Justin and Katelynn Stanfield, Brock and Jackson Marion, Brittney Scott and two great grandchilden.  He is survived by a sister, Susan Scott of Nebraska, brother Charles Scott, Jr., his wife Barbara and daughters Darcie and Amy, of Ashtabula, and sister, Marilyn Cevera and husband Steve and sons, Steve and Jason of Ashtabula. 

Cliff's employment consisted of the US Navy, Grumman Aerospace, American Graphite and Shop-Rite in Waretown.  He was a Charter Member at the Lacey BPOE,#2518, where he served as the first Chaplain. 

Celebration of Life will take place at Layton's Home for Funerals, 250 W. Lacey Rd., Forked River, NJ on Thursday, December 8, 2016, from 10-12 noon, followed by Military Honors at 1:00 p.m., at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
