Michael J. Kenny, 77, passed from this world on February 14, 2017 in the loving company of his sons, sister, and daughter-in-law.

 Michael was born and raised in Bronx, NY and moved to Forked River in the early 1970’s to raise a family with his wife Beatrice. He was a loving husband and father.

Mr. Kenny was predeceased by his wife Beatrice, July 2016. He is survived by his two boys Mike and Chris as well as four grandchildren Christopher, Jenna, Kaelen, and Aiden.  He served in the US Coast Guard from 1957 to 1961 and had a love of the sea and baseball as well as a healthy admiration of John Wayne (the Duke). 

 A funeral mass will be held Friday March 3, 2017 at 930 am. at the Church of Saint Pius X, 300 Lacey Road, Forked River, NJ 08731.
