Alissa Grisard Obituary

Alissa Grisard, age 36, of Beachwood passed away unexpectedly at home on  Tuesday, July 2, 2019. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend with a generous heart. Alissa touched many lives through her dealings in the automotive parts business.  She was well-known and excelled in the field earning several awards including “The Million Dollar Club” for multiple years.

Alissa loved music, especially classic rock.  Having eclectic taste especially appreciating the work and words of Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin, Tom Petty, Eric Clapton and Biggie Smalls.

She enjoyed “fixing” things and collecting “treasures” from a young age.  As a little girl, Lissie would famously wear her old Halloween cape and her fanny pack that could be found filled with nuts, bolts, wires and elastic bands.  She was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Lissie’s sense of humor, her goofy faces, her constant teasing (especially of her nephews) and laughter were unique to her and infectious to those around her.  She loved her pets Smokey and Snowy. But above all, she adored her three nephews D.J., Isaiah and Keenan, and they loved her back in kind.

Alissa was born on March 16, 1983 in Long Branch and spent time in Neptune, Lacey and Beachwood.

She was predeceased by her infant brother Jimi Lee Grisard, her maternal grandmother Betty Buck, and her paternal grandmother Emilie Grisard.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her mother Linda Park, stepfather Terry Park and his son Steven, her sister Daniele and dear friend Carlos, her nephews Darrian Grisard, Isaiah McElrath and Keenan McElrath, her father Jim Grisard, stepmother Kate Grisard and her “lil bro” James Grisard as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
