Daniel W O'Connor

Daniel William O’Connor "DOC" was born on July 6, 1955 in New York City. He passed away suddenly on December 24, 2019 at age 64. Dan lived most of his life in Forked River, NJ, before retiring to Myrtle Beach, SC. He worked for the Ocean County Parks and Recreation Department as a Golf Course Manager, and later as a Lifestyle Director in Myrtle Beach. Dan was an avid sports fan, his favorites being the Yankees, Ravens, and UNC Tar Heels. He had a witty humor, and was loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

Daniel is survived by his beloved wife, Victoria O'Connor; son, Kevin O’Connor and wife Ashley, and grandchildren Tristyn and Kellan; daughter, Katherine Bloemer and husband Gregory, and granddaughter Kasey Mae; stepsons, Peter Liscombe and fiancé Joanna Mannon, Michael Liscombe and wife Jennifer; brother, Robert O'Connor and wife Janice; sister, Doreen Broderick; cousin, Lillian Martin; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

He is predeceased by his parents, James and Theresa O’Connor, and brother-in-law, John “Jack” Broderick.
