John H Penston

John H. Penston, 76, of Forked River, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on July 1, 2018 with his wife and two daughters at his side.

He was the only son of James and Elizabeth Penston. He was born in Brooklyn, NY where he was a long time resident before moving to Forked River, NJ. John was a Plumber for the City of New York and member of Plumbers Local 1.

He was predeceased by his parents, James and Elizabeth and sisters, Josephine and Betty, and grandson Peter, Jr.

John is survived by his loving wife Sally (Tolson), daughters Colleen and Stephen Cannatelli of Howell, NJ; Jane and John Guadagnoli of Forked River, NJ; Sally and Peter Manwaring of Greenport, NY; Joanne and Vincent Mandracchia of Howell, NJ; sisters Patricia and Barbara, along with 13 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. 

John enjoyed fishing and hunting in his spare time.
