Joseph J Giblin

Joseph (Joe) John Giblin, age 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 28, 2019 at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin. He was born on September 20, 1939 in Bayonne to Thomas and Mary (Murphy) Giblin. Joe attended St. Mary’s, Bayonne H.S. and St. Peters College and served in the Army.  

Joe is reunited in God’s house with his siblings Thomas, George, Catherine, John, Grace, Francis (Gibbie), and Mildred.

He was a loving family man, wonderful neighbor and friend who would help you out without any fanfare.  He was a proud retiree of AT&T where he worked until retirement.  

Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Joan; sons Kevin and David (Erika); grandchildren Ryan, Rebecca, Adam, Ashley, Nicholas and Melissa; great grandchild, Noah, many nieces and nephews.   

Family, friends and others whose lives Joe touched are invited to the Layton’s Home For Funerals, 250 W. Lacey Road, Forked River from 10 am – 12 pm on Tuesday April 2, 2019 to reminisce, grieve and support each other.
