Thomas J Ambielli

Thomas Ambielli, 57, of Lanoka Harbor passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, after a brave fight with cancer. 

Tom was born in Irvington, New Jersey on February 11, 1962. He spent his childhood years living in Irvington and Union, NJ prior to moving to Toms River. Tom recently moved to Lanoka Harbor to fulfill his dream of living on the water.

Tom loved traveling and spending time with his family; he always looked forward to planning the next family vacation.  He was happiest lounging on the beach or on a cruise ship with a drink in hand. Tom enjoyed watching HGTV, and could always be found casually browsing for cars and houses. He was a dedicated employee of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield for over 20 years.

Tom is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 30 years, Susan Ambielli, and his two daughters, Samantha and Alyssa Ambielli. He is also survived by his mother Anne Ambielli; two brothers, Robert Ambielli and wife Patricia, and Michael Ambielli and wife Kathy; his sister Elizabeth Ambielli; and many nieces and nephews. Tom is predeceased by his father, Robert Ambielli, and his brother, Charles Ambielli. He was an amazing husband, father, brother, and son and touched the lives of all whom had the pleasure of knowing him.
