Anthony Joseph Crapanzano

Anthony Joseph (Dindi)Crapanzano was born to Sebastian and Giovanina Crapanzano on June 4th, 1933, in Brooklyn NY.  After residing in Brooklyn, he moved to Staten Island where he resided for 30 years and lived in Barnegat, NJ in his later years.

Anthony was one of 9 children. Predeceased by sisters Anna, Nancy, Michelina, Rose, Mary and brother Salvatore, survived by brother Sebastian and sister Frances.

Father to Joseph and Sebastian, Anthony and Giovanna 

Survived by his wife of 74 years Frances. 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews. 

Affectionately called DINDI by many (don’t know why!)

Tony was a north shore Rotarian with a perfect attendance record.

A lifelong entrepreneur Tony started Tip top aluminum in Brooklyn in the 1960s and went on to own T&C amusements and empire communications on Staten Island

An impeccable dresser and in his later years known for his matching outfits and Italian caps. He enjoyed playing cards and working with his hands and being with his family.

Tony was always at the head of the table for our Sunday dinners and family gatherings that he loved so much.  He lived life like Frank Sinatra said... his way!
