Jessica Kirk

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jessica Kirk of Point Pleasant N.J. Jessica passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at The Hospital of The University of Pennsylvania. Born in Trujillo, Peru, Jessica came to the United States twenty years ago, and settled in Linden, NJ.  Jessica was introduced to James by her dear friends Daniel and Marines. They then went on to marry in October 2005.They lived briefly in Forked River, and later moved to Point Pleasant NJ, where they started their family and had their son James Patrick in 2007.

Jessica had a deep and devoted faith in the Catholic religion. She had a sincere devotion to Senor De Los Milagros "Christ of Miracles" venerated in Lima, Peru. Her faith has sustained her during the most difficult times of her life.  An avid beach lover, Jessica enjoyed spending time at the beach and boardwalk with her family. She enjoyed dinners in NYC and all things Disney.  Jessica's happy place was at the gym where she enjoyed Zumba and exercise classes, she also had a passion for music and dancing. 

Jessica is survived by her devoted husband James of sixteen years and her adoring son, James Patrick. Jessica also leaves behind a brother, Ilbio Ismael Arevalo Ugas, sister Erica Del Pilar Arevelo Ugas, brother in law, Carlos Roberto Macchiavello, and niece, Isabella Alessandra Macchiavello Arevalo. Jessica is predeceased by her mother, Zoila Ruquithery Ugas Gonzales, and her father, Ismael Arevalo Benites. Jessica leaves behind her in laws, Marie and Donald Kirk, her brother in law Donald Kirk and his wife Michelle, brother in law Robert Kirk, niece, Julianna Kirk, and nephew, Donald Kirk. The family would also like to acknowledge Jessica's dear friend, Janette. During her fourteen years in Point Pleasant, Jessica was blessed to have her friend Janette by her side. Janette was a great source of comfort and support for Jessica. 

Jessica was known for her bubbly, attractive personality and strong character. Jessica will be remembered as a dedicated wife and mother who valued her relationships with family and friends
