Paul Denicola

March 7, 1959 ~ March 28, 2021 (age 62)

Obituary

On the morning of March 28, 2021, Paul Denicola passed away at home with his family.  Paul was born in Jersey City, NJ and grew up in Middletown, NJ.  Paul later moved to Bayville and then to Lanoka Harbor in 2006.

Paul is survived by his wife Karen MacArthur, Forked River; his brother and wife, John and Linda, Holmdel; his brother and wife, Pete and Nancy, Leonardo, eight stepbrothers and sisters:  Mary Beth Barna (Koehler), Nancy Tully, George Barna, William Barna(deceased), Tom Barna, Chuck “CJ” Barna and Kathleen ‘KT” Barna, stepdaughter and husband, Annie and Tom Massa, Toms River, five nieces and nephews Kristin DeNicola, JT DeNicola, Peter DeNicola, Christopher DeNicola and Jessica McLane and nine great nieces and nephews.

Paul worked for Liberty Door and Awning as a salesman for ten years.

Paul is active in the community and a member of several organizations which include:  The Lacey Moose, served as treasurer and governor, the Lacey Republican Club and member of the Executive Board, the SOCR Pac, president in 2020 and is the committeeman for the 12th District in Lacey

Township (Ocean County).  Paul also serves as an alternate commissioner to the Lacey MUA.

Paul had a number of nicknames, Pauli Walnuts, Walnuts or just Nuts. He lived life to the fullest and could always be found on the waters up and down the jersey shore on his jet ski.  If not on his jet ski you could find him on the roads with his Indian motorcycle and when the weather turned cold and the snows came, snowmobiling in the Adirondacks of NY.  His football team was the JETS and had a true love for jets, attending airshows to see the Thunderbirds and his favorite Blue Angels.

Paul loved life and lived each day to its fullest.  He always would say a person got their monies worth if they passed away and were up in years.  He did not get quantity, he got the Quality, every minute of every day was lived.  In his memory do not let an opportunity pass you by to enjoy life.

In lieu of flowers a donation to your favorite charity in memory of Paul would be appreciated.
