Virginia Arroyo passed away peacefully at her home in Lanoka Harbor on November 5, 2021, at age 82 surrounded by members of her family.
Virginia was born to Nemesio Andujar and Lydia Quiles on November 6, 1938, in New York. Virginia married her husband Benjamin Arroyo on June 7, 1959. In 1961 they moved to Jersey City, NJ and had a son, Keith Arroyo. Virginia worked as an accountant for CBS for many years. She also held various volunteer positions at Fish Memorial Hospital in Deltona Florida where she ultimately retired to in 2003. In 2017 she suffered a stroke and was then brought back to New Jersey to be cared for by her son and his family.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother to her son Virginia loved to work in her garden and vacation with her family.
Virginia joins her parents Nemesio and Lydia, her husband Benjamin and several brothers and sisters in Heaven. She is survived by her son Keith Arroyo, his wife Patrice and her two grandchildren Nicholas and Benjamin. She is also survived by many brothers and sisters. Virginia will be dearly missed.
