I am proud to have served with and seen Carmen perform heroically in Vietnam / Ia Drang Valley, Lz X-Ray. I worked with Carmen for a few years at the North Bergen Fire Department 9th Street Firehouse. He was my Captain. He pushed me to be aggressive, but I always felt safe with him. My sympathy to his family & friends. May he rest in peace.
