I am proud to have served with and seen Carmen perform heroically in Vietnam / Ia Drang Valley, Lz X-Ray. Thru the years we have looked forward to the meetings at our bi-annual Cavalry Reunions and everyone enjoyed and appreciated Carmen's unselfish generosity, friendship and humor. He will always be our 'Brother' and never forgotten. Bill and Jennifer Beck ( A Co. 1/7 Cav.)

I worked with Carmen for a few years at the North Bergen Fire Department 9th Street Firehouse. He was my Captain. He pushed me to be aggressive, but I always felt safe with him. My sympathy to his family & friends. May he rest in peace.
